📜 Terms of use

The license

Buying InkyPages gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the app on one activated Windows PC at a time. You can move the license to another PC using Deactivate, or with support's help. Full details are in the End User License Agreement, which you accept in the app before activation.

What you may not do

You may not resell, redistribute, upload, rent, sublicense, or share the installer or your license key; bypass or interfere with activation; or sell modified copies. The software remains the property of its creator. Personal backup copies are allowed; giving copies to others is not. Violating these terms may result in your license being revoked — your notes always remain readable and exportable.

Fair play

Please don't share, resell or publish your license key, and don't attempt to bypass the license system. We keep the system gentle on purpose — help us keep it that way.

Your content

Everything you write in InkyPages is yours. We claim no rights over your notes.

Updates

Updates to InkyPages are free for license holders. We'll do our best to keep every update compatible with your existing notes; automatic backups protect them either way.

Warranty

InkyPages is provided "as is". We work hard to keep your notes safe (autosave, atomic writes, rotating backups), but as with any software, please also keep your own backups of important writing. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid.

Payments

Payments, taxes, invoices and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's terms also apply to the purchase itself.

Refunds (policy v2026-07-29): InkyPages includes a free 14-day trial. Because customers can evaluate the software before purchasing, all sales are final for change-of-mind, accidental-use, or no-longer-needed requests. Exceptions apply to duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, failure to receive the product, serious reproducible technical defects we cannot resolve, and refunds required by applicable law. A refunded or charged-back license is revoked; your notes remain readable and exportable.
