📖 Download & activation

1. After you buy

Right after checkout you'll get an email from our store (Lemon Squeezy) containing your download link, your license key (looks like XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX) and your receipt. The success page shows the same download button and key.

2. Install

1. Download the InkyPages zip and extract the whole folder somewhere you can write to — e.g. Documents\InkyPages. Please don't put it in C:\Program Files: InkyPages keeps your notes in a data folder next to the app, and Windows blocks writing there. (If you do, the app will tell you rather than losing anything.)
2. Double-click InkyPages.exe. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time — click More info → Run anyway.

3. Activate

1. Open the book and click the 🔑 License button at the bottom of the left page.
2. Paste your license key and click Activate. (This one step needs internet.)
3. Done — the app now works fully offline on this PC.

Moving to a new computer

In the app: 🔑 License → Deactivate this PC. Then activate on the new PC with the same key. If your old PC broke and you can't deactivate, just contact support with your order email — we'll free the license for you.

Your notes are always yours

Notes live in the data folder next to InkyPages.exe. Back that folder up any time, or use Export (⬆ in the app) to save your whole book as one file. A license problem never blocks reading or exporting your notes.
