The short version

Your notes belong to you and stay on your computer. We can't read them. We don't want to.

What the app stores

InkyPages keeps all notebooks, notes, settings and backups in a local folder on your PC. The app does not upload your writing anywhere.

What we receive

• When you buy: our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record) processes your payment and shares with us your email, order details and license key so we can support you. We never see your full card or PayPal credentials.
• When you activate: the app sends your license key and a random installation ID to the license service to count your one active PC. No hardware serial numbers, no MAC address, no files, no note content.
• Voice writing: your notes are never uploaded. Speech is the one exception, and only if you choose to use it. The 🎤 button uses the speech recognition built into your PC's browser engine; on Windows that sends the audio you speak to a speech service to convert it to text, and InkyPages never sees or stores that audio. If your PC has no in-app speech, the app offers Windows' own voice typing (Win + H), which follows your Windows privacy settings. Don't press 🎤 and no audio leaves your computer at all.

What we don't do

• No ads, no trackers, no analytics inside the app.
• No selling of personal data. Ever.
• No account required.

Data deletion

Email support and we'll delete your purchase records where legally possible (tax law requires keeping some invoice data).
